Newport Harbor Yacht Club is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Staff Accountant to join our team full-time. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to grow within a premier private club known for exceptional hospitality and service.

Position Overview:
The Junior Staff Accountant will support the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger tasks. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in accounting within a hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing
• Support member billing and collections
• Perform data entry, account reconciliations, and journal entries
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Respond to internal and member billing inquiries in a professional manner

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and or min 3 years in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or in progress)
• 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred
• Hospitality or service industry experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and team-oriented mindset

Compensation:
$55,000 – $65,000 annually, depending on experience
